Side Note: Argentina as a whole
The people: Very European. Well dressed. Lots of suites and leather jackets and knee high leather boots. Everyone was slim but not fit. Lots of plastic surgery (BA is actually the plastic surgery capital of the world or something) Women makeup, men rat tails and mullet haircuts. The men were not very aggressive, no cat calls, a little persistent in clubs but not very physical and ignorable. All very nice, friendly and interested in speaking inglesh, lots of inglish. But also pretty arrogant. Better than the rest of south America def America and probs Europe. Do not love Americans. Yet watch our movies, listen to our music and buy all of our nice products. Go figure
Pretty backwards innoficient
BA: big pretty city parts are very euopean but it is very easy to walk down a street and end up in very much south America.
Area where we stayed: Pretty clean, lots of dogs being walked in big packs by dogwalkers. Many spaniels. Air quality poor.
Almost daily protests that most people just roll their eyes at, about job availability for the most part is what we gathered.
Country side: Now we are in south America. Much more run down buildings. little one room shacky houses. Nice roads
The language: little difficult. The castillano accent was difficult to get through.

COMPARE Ecuador:
Ecuador def developing south America. Buildings all got the rebarb coming up out the top like in mexico but what it built is a little nicer. And then (kinda like in costa rica) there are super nice houses that are kinda clustered together. Quito tennis is the millionare neighborhood where paula (my Ecuadorian friend who went to Scripps for a year) lives with her parents.
People are nice, when approached very helpful but street eye contact and miles aren’t super common. Very humble and still feeling out the being American thing. Its harder when you spend a lot of time in a big American group haha
Country side: BEAUTIFUL increadible
